Ingredients

  • 300 g of spinach
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 round shortcrust pastry sheet
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g of milk
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 200 g of grated cheese

How to make?

Preheat the oven to 180 oC with heat up and down, and sauté the spinach with a little olive oil.

Place the shortcrust pastry sheet in the mold.

Spread the sautéed spinach over the dough.

Beat 3 eggs. Then add milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Then add grated cheese.

Now, pour the mixture over the spinach.

Bake the spinach and cheese pie for 30-40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and unmold.

Serve the Spinach and Cheese Pie hot or cold.

chicken pot pie

Ingredients

  • 400 g skinless chicken breast (300 g if the chicken is already cooked)
  • salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 medium red pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 or 2 spring onions (green part only)
  • 3 or 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g of grated cheese
  • 250 g shortcrust pastry or puff pastry (1 sheet)
  • A little flour to stretch the dough
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

How to make?

Cut the chicken and season it if it is still raw.

Chop the carrot, pepper, onion, green onion and garlic.

Heat the oil in a pan and saute the carrots, bell peppers and onions.

Then stir in the chopped garlic and green onions, sauté for another 1 minute.

Add the chicken and sauté for another minute. Beat eggs, add grated cheese and salt and pepper. Mix the chicken stuffing with the egg mixture.

Line the mold with the shortcrust pastry. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on the base. Pour the filling for the pie into the mold. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 180°C.
