Simple chocolate cake recipe
Ingredients
- 180g wheat flour
- 4 eggs
- 40g cocoa powder
- 150g of sugar
- 1 tablespoon chemical yeast or baking powder
- 160ml of milk
- 90g of butter
- A bit of salt
How to make?
In a large bowl we place the eggs and sugar. We beat these ingredients well with a mixer for about 2 minutes, until the mixture is light and foamy.
Then we add the flour, baking powder and cocoa, everything is sifted well so that our chocolate cake does not have lumps. Once this is done, add a pinch of salt and, with a spatula, mix until all the ingredients are integrated.
In a pan or in a small casserole we put the milk and the butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, without letting the milk come to a boil. When the butter melts and integrates with the milk, turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
With the milk still hot, add this preparation to the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix again until you get a homogeneous mass.
We cover the bottom of a mold with baking paper and grease the edges with a little melted butter. Pour the chocolate cake batter into the mold and place in a preheated oven at 180ºC. We let it cook for about 40 minutes.
After this time, we check whether the chocolate cake is ready. To do this, insert a toothpick inside and if it comes out clean, it's ready. Remove the mold from the oven and let it warm up a little and unmold. Let cool completely before serving.

Ingredients
For the cake dough:
- 120 g of sugar
- Peel of 1/2 orange
- 150 g of milk
- 4 eggs
- 100 g of sunflower oil
- 300 g of flour
- 1 packet of yeast
For the chocolate cream:
- 1 egg
- 500 g of milk
- 80 g of sugar
- 60 g of flour
- 25 g bitter cocoa powder
How to make?
We start preparing the dough for the cake. Put the sugar and the orange peel (only the orange part) in the mixer bowl and beat well.
We incorporate the milk, eggs and oil. We hit again well.
Now we add the flour and yeast. Mix everything again.
We place our dough in a mold of about 22 centimeters in diameter that we will have previously oiled and floured.
No need to wash the glass, we now prepare the cream. We put all the ingredients for the cream in the glass and let it beat for 5 minutes to integrate well.
We cover it with transparent film and let it temper for a few minutes.
When the cream is not so hot, we preheat the oven to 160o.

- 100g of sugar

- 100g of 70% chocolate
- 100ml of olive oil
How to make?
In a bowl, we put the eggs together with the sugar. Vigorously beat the two ingredients until the egg begins to foam.
Add the oil and milk and mix the two ingredients again with the previous mixture.
Now, we place a sieve over the bowl where we are making this mixture. Inside it, we put the flour and yeast and give it a few taps. Thus, we sift the flour and incorporate it into the mixture. Once this is done, we mix everything again making enveloping movements
Now we divide the mixture. We put a little less than half of it in another bowl and to this part that we have just separated, we add the previously melted chocolate. You can melt it in a bain-marie or carefully in the microwave. This mass will thicken a little.
In a round shape, better if it is removable, we put a thin layer of the dough mixture without the chocolate. On top and trying not to reach the edges of the mold, we place the entire chocolate part. We cover everything with the rest of the dough.
We put the cake filled with chocolate in the oven previously heated to 180ºC. As the minutes pass, we will see how little by little the cake grows.
